Please join us for a ‘covered-dish’ picnic lunch immediately following the annual meeting.  “Dinner on the Grounds” at Richland is a tradition you’ll want to share with your family year after year.  Please make your plans now to join in our wonderful fellowship.  The Trustees of the Restoration League are looking forward to sharing good news with you all!

WHEN:  Sunday, October 4, 2009 (It’s the first Sunday in October, every year!)

TIME:  12 Noon  WHERE:  Historic Richland Baptist Church, Twiggs County (directions below)

WHAT TO BRING:  A “covered dish” (with serving piece) sufficient for your group to share picnic style.  Beverages, plates, napkins and flatware will be provided.

We welcome Francis Lamar Wilson, from Albuquerque, New Mexico, as our guest speaker. He is the grandson of the late Rev. Francis Bartow Asbell, who was the last pastor of Richland Church. Rev. Wilson followed the example of his Grandfather when he graduated from Mercer University and then Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas.

We welcome Rev. Wilson to our 198th Homecoming service on this, the 200th Anniversary of Twiggs County.

We hope you’ll be here with your family to welcome him and his family.
